General Manager

Corney & Barrow requires a passionate individual who is keen to take on a hands on role within this high volume, high profile city wine bar operation. The site is located in the heart of the city and has built a strong reputation with the local law and financial businesses. The business currently takes in excess of £1.6m from food, beverage and private dining. This bar is seasonal and requires a versatile front of house manager who can motivate a team, drive a business and really get to know the demanding yet fun client base.

The right manager will have a strong front of house presence, be hands on yet have the ability to step away and be a business manager. You will want to deliver an excellent product through delegation and determination. This business demands an energetic, passionate and personable operator who has a background in either bars or restaurants. You will be a proven General Manager who has a full understanding of a high volume business.

Assistant Manager – high volume

Corney & Barrow are looking to recruit an Assistant Manager for one of their high volume operations. This business offers a wide range of services to the customer, from breakfast to private dining to a great lunch service. This site requires an adaptable and versatile manager who is looking to develop with a company.

The right manager will have at least two years experience of working within a quality food or beverage led operation. You will be passionate, warm and hard working with a real determination to succeed. You will be happy to do whatever necessary to provide an excellent all round experience for a very demanding client base.

Working with a professional and dedicated team you will be used to managing a large group and be keen to develop each individual. You will be able to make decisions under pressure and be able to take accountability for the business.

The Manager in this site is keen to develop an individual to take on their own site within two years.

Assistant Manager – low volume

Corney & Barrow are looking to recruit a junior Assistant Manager to assist in the management of one of their well known operations. This site has a strong and loyal customer base and prides itself on providing a great experience for this demanding operation. This site is based in the heart of the city of London and requires a front of house operator who is passionate about delivering the very best standards and service.

The ideal Manager will have at least two year’s experience in either a supervisory or management position in London. You will have great communication skills, be able to relate well with customers, senior management and an established team. You will pride yourself on your determination, ambition and drive and you will be able to enthuse a team with your natural charisma.
